Manama, Bahrain (January 28, 2024) – Eskan Bank has won the "Best Mortgage Bank for 2023" award, which falls under the category of banking awards granted by "International Finance" magazine to distinguished institutions, in recognition of Eskan Bank's efforts in providing innovative housing solutions and programs to citizens.

On this occasion, Her Excellency Mrs. amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Eskan Bank, stated that the Bank's winning of the "Best Mortgage Bank" award comes within the framework of the Bank's efforts to support the real estate sector in the Kingdom, through its main contribution to supporting the plans and programs of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, especially the housing programs that are provided in partnership with the private sector. She added that the award reflects the achievement made in terms of providing innovative housing solutions for citizens.

The Minister explained that Eskan Bank, through its mortgage program, has contributed to enabling thousands of beneficiaries of financial services to obtain additional financing from banks participating in the housing finance program, in a clear reflection of the extent of direct support provided by the Bank to housing finance.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning expressed her pride and appreciation to the executive management and all employees of the Eskan Bank for this achievement, which is a medal of appreciation for all its members, hoping that the award will be a motivation and incentive to make more efforts for the benefit of the country and citizens.

For his part, Dr. Khalid Abdulla, the General Manager of Eskan Bank, commented that all Eskan Bank members feel grateful and proud to receive this award from an institution with a great impact on the international level, stressing the importance of supporting the social housing sector with such systems, and progress in the field of banking services, to facilitate the provision of services to citizens on one hand, and to facilitate the quality of performance and operations using modern administrative and technical methods on the other hand.
